Trying Something New with the Composter… Not Sure If It’ll Work

I’ve been testing out this electric composter for a little while now—mostly just tossing in kitchen scraps like veggie peels, eggshells, and coffee grounds. So far, it’s been working great. But today, I decided to see if it could handle something else: cat poop.

I have two cats, which means I’m constantly scooping their litter. Normally, I just bag it up and toss it, but I read that some composters can actually break it down—as long as you use biodegradable litter (which I do). So, I figured… why not?

Right now, there’s a mix of food waste and cat waste sitting in the machine. I have no idea what’s going to happen. Will it break down like everything else? Will it smell awful? Will I regret this decision entirely? 😅

Guess I’ll find out in a few days. Hoping for the best!
