A Game Changer! I Had No Idea This Was Possible š¶ā»ļø
Okay, so I just found out something wild, and I need to share it. Apparently, you can compost pet waste. Like⦠dog poop. And cat litter. And it actually works. š¤Æ
I always thought pet waste was a straight-to-the-trash kind of thingātoo gross, too smelly, too full of bacteria. But I recently got an GEME electric composter (mostly for food scraps), and on a whim, I tossed in some biodegradable cat litter and my dogās waste just to see what would happen. Honestly? I was bracing for a disaster.
A few days later, I opened the composter, and⦠it was gone. Like, completely broken down into this dark, crumbly, earthy-smelling compost. No awful stench, no mess, just⦠dirt?! š³
I donāt know why I never thought this was possible before, but now I canāt stop thinking about how much waste Iāve just been throwing away all these years. I mean, I probably wonāt use this on my vegetable garden (just in case), but for trees and flowers? Absolutely.
Anyway, just had to share because Iām genuinely blown away. If you have pets and deal with the never-ending cycle of poop-scooping⦠well, apparently, thereās another way. Who knew?! š
