I’ve been using the first-generation composter for quite a while now, and it’s been a solid addition to my home. It does a good job reducing kitchen waste, and overall, I’m happy with how it works. That said, I’ve been hearing about the second-generation model, and I’d like to know more about it.

Specifically, I’m curious about:

• Release date – When will it be available?
• Key improvements – How does it compare to the first-gen in terms of efficiency and performance?
• Processing capacity – Any changes in the amount of waste it can handle at a time?
• Noise levels – Is it quieter?
• Pet waste compatibility – I’ve been composting biodegradable cat litter with the current model—does the new one improve on this?
